Attorney Brittany W. DeBord is a Shareholder with Lieberman Blecher & Sinkevich, P.C. Her practice focuses on all phases of environmental law, including litigation, regulatory compliance and permitting, as well as toxic exposure litigation, real estate transactions, and land use matters. Ms. DeBord graduated from the George Washington University Law School in 2015. There, she served as Notes Editor of the George Washington Journal of Energy & Environmental Law as well as President of the Environmental Law Association. She is the 2015 recipient of the Charles and Kathryn Miller Award for Excellence in Environmental Law. Ms. DeBord is also published in the Journal of Animal and Natural Resources Law.

Attorney DeBord returns to Lieberman Blecher & Sinkevich after gaining valuable experience in the transactional arena and with banking compliance in 2018. Ms. DeBord began her legal career as a law clerk to the Honorable Jeanne T. Covert, currently the assignment judge of the New Jersey Superior Court, Burlington County vicinage. She has also worked as a legal intern for a number of environmental organizations, including the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, the Sierra Club, the Southern Environmental Law Center, and the World Resources Institute. Prior to attending law school, Attorney DeBord earned a degree in Environmental Engineering at the University of Delaware.

Ms. DeBord is a member of the New Jersey and New York State Bars.
