Michael D, Sinai, Esq. practices in several areas of environmental law, including environmental litigation, toxic torts, regulatory compliance, construction law, development, zoning and land use. Other specific practice areas include permitting for industrial facilities, wetlands and stormwater management, federal and state Superfund sites, underground storage tanks and oil spills, transactional due diligence, and solid and hazardous waste management. Mr. Sinai also has experience in the fields of insurance defense, landlord-tenant law, and general litigation.

Mr. Sinai joined Lieberman & Blecher, P.C. as an associate in May 2018. Mr. Sinai is a member of the New Jersey State Bar Association, New York State Bar Association, and the Middlesex County Bar Association.

Michael D. Sinai, Esq. has experience in private environmental litigation, insurance defense, and complex insurance litigation in New York and New Jersey. His public interest work includes the Pace Environmental Litigation Clinic (White Plains, NY) He has also worked for the New York Attorney General’s Environmental Protection Bureau (New York, NY) and the Eastern Environmental Law Center (Newark, NJ). His focus includes property rights, industrial compliance and cleanups, environmental protection, transparency of government actions and private development, open space, historic preservation, environmental justice and civil rights.

Michael D. Sinai is admitted to practice in the States of New Jersey and New York, and in the Federal Courts in the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York and the District of New Jersey.
