Ms. Blecher is a founding member of the firm. She has represented many municipalities, businesses and individuals in a variety of environmental and toxic tort matters. Ms. Blecher has focused much of her practice in the areas of coal tar contamination and MTBE (methyl tertiary butyl ether) contamination. She has assisted many business owners and property owners in their efforts to deal with property diminution concerns and other damages resulting from these forms of pollution. Much of Ms. Blecher's practice finds her working closely with neighborhood and community groups that have been impacted and injured as a result of contamination or toxic chemical exposure. Ms. Blecher has successfully concluded numerous cases resulting in compensation for people who have been harmed by such substances and chemicals.
Shari Blecher has also represented clients in a variety of real estate and land use matters at the residential and commercial level. Often, these projects involve environmentally challenged properties.
The New Jersey Law Journal, one of the State's leading weekly legal publications, named Shari M. Blecher as one of the "40 Under 40" lawyers in New Jersey, reflecting that publication's opinion that she is an attorney under the age of 40 who will likely have a positive impact on the New Jersey legal community over the next decade.
Shari was honored with the Super Lawyers designation in July 2007
