About Brittany DeBord

Prior to joining the firm, Ms. DeBord served as law clerk to the Honorable Jeanne T. Covert, Presiding Judge of the Criminal Division at the Burlington County Superior Court. She began her career with Lieberman & Blecher as a summer intern in 2013. She has also worked as a legal intern for a number of environmental organizations, such as the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, the Sierra Club, the Southern Environmental Law Center, and the World Resources Institute. Ms. DeBord has participated in both policy-making and litigation on a variety of environmental topics, including water quality, air pollution, land use, endangered species, alternative energy and environmental justice issues.

Ms. DeBord attended the George Washington University Law School where she focused on environmental and energy law. She served as Notes Editor of the George Washington Journal of Energy & Environmental Law as well as President of the Environmental Law Association. She is the 2015 recipient of the Charles and Kathryn Miller Award for Excellence in Environmental Law. Ms. DeBord is also published in the Journal of Animal and Natural Resources Law. Prior to attending law school, Ms. DeBord earned a degree in Environmental Engineering at the University of Delaware.

Ms. DeBord is a member of the New York and New Jersey State Bars.
